An "Oscar" for Puy du Fou
The Vendée theme park, located 1 hour from Nantes, received the most prestigious award at the 30th Themed Entertainment Association (Tea) ceremony in the United States, on Saturday night to Sunday. It is the "Best show in the world", it's clearly the equivalent of an Oscar in the cinema! And it's the big new addition of 2023 that is being rewarded: The Mime and the Star.
In the industry, it's one of the most prestigious awards in the theme park industry. Wow, hats off!

By immersing its spectators in the carefree atmosphere of the Belle-Epoque, Puy du Fou tells the sublime love story between a gypsy and a movie star on set through a new technical and artistic feat. "In front of the director's camera lens, everything starts moving. The facades of the houses and storefronts of a typical Belle Epoque street pass by in a real setting in front of a captivated audience, while the 120 characters of the story move on a mobile platform reinforcing the illusion of a close to 2 kilometers long tracking shot!"
Millions of euros invested in technology
Impressively beautiful and technical, the show takes place in a constantly moving set thanks to an ingenious mechanism. The park has invested over 20 million euros in the show. After a record year with 2.6 million visitors, Puy du Fou continues to reach new heights, even across the Atlantic!
