A Captivating Scenario
At the heart of the story is Esther Lefèvre, a retired court clerk portrayed by Clémentine Céliarié, who learns she has Alzheimer's disease. Before her memories fade away, she embarks on a quest that is as radical as it is fascinating: confronting a heavy secret from the past by eliminating, one by one, the people listed on a mysterious list found in her archives.
With this psychological thriller laced with darkness and tension, the series promises a mix of investigation and intimate drama, all showcased through a dynamic and modern production.
Regional Landscapes on Screen
Filmed in 2024, "Mémoire Vive" highlights iconic locations in Nantes, Le Pouliguen, Le Croisic, Pornichet, and Pornic. It’s a wonderful showcase for the Pays de la Loire region, which supported the production with 200,000 euros, in partnership with the national center for cinema and animated image.
