Presented in La Baule-Escoublac, this plan marks a turning point in the way we address this problem, which has become central in schools. The goal is clear: to act faster, more effectively, and especially to give victims simple ways to get help.
An accessible tool with just one click
This is the flagship measure of this regional "offensive"; for the first time in France, high school students can report bullying situations directly from their computers. Thanks to a partnership with the e-Enfance 3018 association, the Region has integrated the 3018 chatbot into all the laptops distributed to students. The result: nearly 150,000 students now have direct access to specialized help.cute;e. This device allows young people to ask questions, assess their situation, or connect with trained professionals. All of this is done confidentially, quickly, and without complicated procedures. In a context where harassment often extends online, this digital solution stands out as particularly well-suited to the current habits of teenagers.
A response to a very real urgency
Choosing to invest in a digital tool is no small matter. Today, a large part of bullying takes place on social networks or through private messaging, far from the watchful eyes of adults. By integrating 3018 directly into high school students' computers, the Pays de la Loire region aims to remove the barriers to speaking up. No more need to search for a number or find the courage to talk to someone at first, help is immediately accessible. Every click can make a difference. And in certain situations, this quick access can prevent things from getting worse.
An enhanced vigilance network
This plan isn't just about digital solutions; the region is also focusing on a comprehensive approach, creating a true vigilance network across the entire territory. Departmental networks are being gradually established, bringing together various stakeholders: the rectorate, local authorities, and more.
cute;schools, health services, law enforcement, and specialized associations. The idea is simple: to better coordinate actions to intervene more quickly and effectively at the first signs of bullying. Four networks are already operational, and a fifth one is set to launch soon. It's a gradual build-up, aiming to cover the entire territory.Raising Awareness to Better Prevent
At the same time, the Region is also enhancing prevention efforts. Escape games, interventions on cyberbullying, awareness initiatives starting at a young age… the initiatives are multiplying. The goal is to not just react, but also to anticipate. Because behind every bullying situation, there is often a lack of information, guidance, or understanding.
With this unprecedented initiative, the Pays de la Loire region positions itself as a pilot territory in the fight against school bullying. If the results are promising, this model could inspire other regions in the.in the coming months.
