It's a distinction that truly brings joy! Every year since 2015, AirHelp, the largest passenger rights technology company in the world, has been ranking the best airports globally. This ranking is considered the most comprehensive and accurate, based on data from airports worldwide. A total of 240 airports from 70 different countries were analyzed and compared this year. Nantes Atlantique has been elected as the second best airport in France In this edition, the Nantes Atlantique Airport shines by ranking 138th among the best airports in the world. The airport in Nantes received an overall rating of 7.50 and is especially recognized for its punctuality (7.3), customer evaluations (8.2), and retail and dining space (7.4). This year, Nantes Atlantique Airport holds the second position among the best airports in France, just behind Toulouse-Blagnac (115th). And on the international stage? Internationally, Doha Hamad Airport in Qatar is at the top of the ranking with an average score of 8.52, closely followed by Cape Town Airport in South Africa (8.50) and Nagoya Chubu Airport in Japan (8.49). It's worth noting that Japan has the most airports in the top 10 with three (two for South Korea).So, in France we still have some room for improvement before aiming for the top spots in the ranking. For this ranking, AirHelp considered punctuality (60%), user reviews (20%), and the quality of dining and shopping areas (20%). Data was mainly collected through the AirHelp data platform, which monitors over 4,000 airports worldwide, and from the personal experiences of 17,000 passengers from over 60 countries.
