Unfortunately, many of us dread the City of Dukes as night falls. To help combat the decline of the city center in the evening, the Nantes metropolis has set up some measures as part of the national plan to combat sexist harassment and sexual violence in public transport. The first one allows you to be dropped off as close to your home as possible from 10:30 PM on all bus lines until the end of service.
How does it work?
To ensure greater safety during your nighttime bus rides, a personalized service allows you to be dropped off as close to home as possible, between two stops starting from 10:30 PM in Nantes. You simply need to ask the driver, in person, at the previous stop, to let you off at a safe location between two stations. You will exit through the front door, and it's up to the driver to choose the safest spot based on the route and traffic conditions.

In addition to the previous service, Nantes offers the Luciole service, with buses running late into the night. On Thursday and Saturday nights, Luciole will help you get home until the early morning. Four special lines operate until 4:45 AM on Saturdays, letting you head home with peace of mind:
- Thursday nights: service until 4 AM between Hangar à Bananes and Chantrerie.
- Saturday nights: three lines serve the north, south, and west of Nantes from 2:45 AM to 4:45 AM departing from Hangar à Bananes.
