On Saturday, May 25, the 8th edition of the merchants' festival Nantes à Coeur returns to the heart of the city for a day of celebration and good deals. Whether you're a food lover, aspiring artist, music fan, or just looking for a beautiful day out with the family, there will be something for everyone. The iconic streets and squares of Nantes will be the stage for many activities offered by local merchants.
Markets, tastings, and creative workshops
Some of the highlights of this day include thematic markets (creators, plants, gardening, food, and well-being), as well as many tastings of delicious local products (cheese, wines, "pão de queijos", sardines, olive oil, chocolate, Italian products, and truffles). This 8th edition will also offer a variety of creative workshops where you can unleash your creativity with workshops for making jewelry, introduction to illustration, badge-making, plastic arts, ceramics, cooking, and hairstyling. Verdun Street: a place just for kids
If the adults will of course be the happiest, the children will not be left out with a whole range of activities and highlights reserved just for them. Verdun Street will be transformed into a paradise for the little ones with face painting, cotton candy, outdoor games, mascots, and knock-over-the-cans. At the same time, giant LEGOs will be set up in Graslin Square.
