No, this isn't a weird dream (or a post-heatwave hallucination), giant moles are indeed going to stroll through the streets of Nantes on Saturday, June 28. Yes, moles, in XXL size, furry and a little bit quirky, who will dance, give you cuddles (if you’re up for it), and create a fantastic atmosphere for the Night of the VAN, let us explain!

The Whimsical Parade of the Maulwürfe

These giant moles are the Maulwürfe, a totally wacky troupe that turns public spaces into a surreal playground. They will be appearing in a festive parade stretching from Cours Cambronne to Square Daviais, joined by the super funky Green Line Marching Band, who will provide a lively and groovy soundtrack.
And to wrap up this furry march in style, there's an electro DJ set at 9 PM in Square Daviais to get your back legs moving until dusk.


The Night of VAN: A Totally Whimsical (and Free) Night!

But that's not all, the Night of VAN also brings a flurry of free artistic and festive events all around Nantes. On the agenda:
