In 2023, Nantes was elected European capital of carnival

You can't miss the Nantes Carnival! It is the 2nd largest carnival in France named as the capital of carnival in 2023. It is an ancient tradition that has taken on various forms: masked balls, masquerades, processions, Mardi Gras parades, Mi-Careme celebrations, and other carnivals that have marked the history of the City of Dukes over the centuries.
A must-attend event with completely free animations, where the atmosphere will be there, of course.
