Organized by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Hérault, the Hérault Gourmand contest celebrates the culinary artisans of the department. For the 2025-2026 edition, nearly 400 products were submitted to a blind tasting jury, chaired by chef Matthieu De Lauzun. Among the winners are pastry chefs, chocolatiers, bakers, confectioners… names that contribute to the culinary reputation of Hérault.

And the winner is…
The star of the evening for Cookies by Marie ? It’s their Choco-Raspberry cookie, crafted around a homemade raspberry jam and generous chunks of Valrhona chocolate. This soft cake, perfectly balanced between melt-in-your-mouth goodness and indulgence, won over the judges and took home the gold. Their “Dark Chocolate” version snagged the silver medal, proving that the shop has more than one winning card up its sleeve.
