If you love retro video games, you are going to adore L'Invader, the new game bar that landed on February 23rd at 34 rue de l'Université, just steps away from the Louis Blanc tram. This crazy project was born from the imagination of three gaming enthusiasts: Romain and Thibault.

As soon as you step through the doors of Invader, you are catapulted into a time when screens were square (well... cubical, really) and characters were all pixelated. From arcade machines in the colors of our childhood heroes, to flashy graffiti and blinking neon lights that could give you a headache, the setting is all set! (Just about to bump into Mario and all his pals from the Mushroom Kingdom).

But hey, you don't need to be a pro with the joystick to enter this lovely bar! Indeed, l'Invader is open to everyone, from young padawans to Jedi masters. Here, we don't judge your level, but rather your ability to sip a pint while avoiding the ghosts of Pac-Man! (and believe me, it's not easy). You'll be offered many original cocktails inspired by pop culture icons (thanks to the Métropolitain for this delicious tip). Whether you're a fan of Pac-Man, Blair Witch, or Naruto, you'll find something you love. And the cherry on top: everything is made with local products!

To spice up your evenings even more, Invader regularly organizes themed events. Whether it's a St. Patrick's Day celebration with pints flowing, a quiz to test your gaming knowledge, or a video game tournament where only the most skilled will survive, get ready for some crazy nights!
