Established in the landscape since 1989, La Cure Gourmande is a beacon for sweet lovers, a must-stop for tourists, and a true showcase of made in France traditional delights. However, the last few years have been tough. After a judicial recovery attempt, the challenges proved too much for this iconic shop. Inflation, decreasing purchasing power, competition in the high-end sweets market… the recipe just didn't work. And with this liquidation, over 100 jobs are now at risk.

An end… or a new beginning?
The brand had a strong network of shops in the south: Béziers, Pézenas, Aigues-Mortes, Uzès, and Le Grau-du-Roi. But that wasn't enough… However, not everything may be lost: an interested buyer can still submit an offer to the commercial court in Montpellier. The story of this iconic candy shop, which was born 35 years ago, might still have a different outcome. In the meantime, let's keep our fingers crossed that this legendary brand continues to make us melt… for a long time to come!
