From Nîmes, to Paris all the way to Dallas, where he won the prestigious title of World Burger Champion, Joannes Richard is considered a true master of the burger! A true enthusiast of street-food, he made history in 2023 by becoming the first non-American (and French!) chef to be crowned in Dallas. During the competition, he cooked up his Grillin’ Burger which propelled him into the spotlight, earning international recognition from his American peers.
Memphis: the most American dinners in Montpellier

Their partnership with the number 1 American diner brand also includes Montpellier residents who can try the recipe at the Montpellier restaurant located at 1049 Rue Hélène Boucher in Mauguio for €17.95 per person.
The Grillin'Burger: a mix of spicy and sunny flavors
For this exclusive creation, the chef takes inspiration from the traditional American burger and gives it a twist with spicy and tangy flavors: a corn bun, freshly ground beef, melted cheddar, smoked bacon, marinated sun-dried tomatoes, tangy pickles, arugula, Jack Daniel's caramelized onions, and a barbecue spice sauce with smoky notes. And for an extra touch of originality, this burger will be served.With a little dropper of hot sauce that can be dosed according to each person's taste to enhance the dish."
"For this new creation, I wanted to make a very Americanized burger with our French products. Each ingredient has been carefully chosen to meet the requirements of a good burger: soft bread, good meat, a creamy sauce..." explains Chef Joannes Richard.
