On June 7th and 8th, the Montpellier SPA is swinging its doors wide open and sharing its heart for a weekend like no other. A vibrant call to everyone who has a little room in their life — and on their sofa — for a furry companion. Because yes, behind the gates of the shelter, there are dozens of animals just waiting for a glance, a pat, a second chance. The shelter is full to bursting, the capacity has exploded, and every adoption matters.
A weekend to change lives
But be careful, here, there’s no way to rush off on a whim with an adorable puppy or a kitten with big, round eyes. The SPA firmly communicates its message: adopting means committing. For life. Not for a few Instagram stories. Not like a summer whim. It's a decision to consider, a love to build, a responsibility to take on. And that’s exactly the purpose of this open house weekend: to allow everyone to come meet the animals, understand their stories, and perhaps, leave with one of them.

And because adoptions never come alone, the SPA has planned an amazing program: agility demonstrations for athletic dog lovers, introduction to canisport for the sporty ones, creative workshops and face painting for the kids, not to mention training for future adoptions!
