Just 10 minutes from the center thanks to the tram line 4, this once-isolated area is experiencing a true transformation. Yesterday’s wastelands are giving way to inspiring projects. For instance, the former Citroën dealership is becoming the Parc Nino Ferrer, which will be inaugurated on July 19. On 7,000 m² of permeable land, around a hundred trees, ping-pong tables, and picnic areas are already shaping a new daily life, as explained to us by Le Métropolitain.

A neighborhood that’s reinventing itself

On the cultural side, the excitement is tangible. The third place Restanque by LineUP has opened its doors with an exciting program.

ectique, while MOBA, spearheaded by Bières d’Occitanie, is settling into a former Lidl site to create a bar, club, children's space, and dance studio.

A colossal construction project on the horizon

By 2040, 7,500 new homes, 150,000 m² of shops, a media hub (including Clapas, Divergence FM, La Marseillaise), a fire station, a Food City, and a sports complex will be added to the mix. We can't wait to see all of that !
