It’s official: Montpellier is getting ready to welcome its brand new tram line, according to our friends at Midi Libre! With its 27 stations, line 5 is definitely the line everyone has been waiting for. Its design, created by Cameroonian artist Barthélémy Toguo, promises to dazzle us! This artist, known for his contemporary creations that blend culture and humanity, has given a unique identity to the trams. Bright colors, inspiring patterns… It’s truly a masterpiece, if I may say so!

Inauguration in 2025
Connecting Clapiers (to the north) and Lavérune (to the west), line 5 will take you to must-see spots in the city. You'll be able to stop by the Agropolis campus, visit the Lunaret Zoo, head to Paul Valéry University, or even get off at the GGL Stadium to cheer for your favorite team. But that's not all: the line will also pass through the Creative City and the Montcalm Park. In short, no more struggles to cross Montpellier!
