A little hole in your favorite sweater? A missing button on that jacket you adore? Or maybe a pair of pants forgotten at the back of your closet for way too long? Instead of letting these pieces gather dust or tossing them aside, RE.UNIQLO STUDIO offers a stylish and responsible alternative by giving them a second life.

The idea is simple: keep your clothes for as long as possible to keep these products in circulation and highlight all that they still have to offer. Repair, transform, or personalize—every worn piece can regain its purpose, with a touch of creativity to boot.

100% Free Repair Workshops

To take this repair initiative even further, UNIQLO is partnering with the Nantes-based mobile studio Les Réparables for a third edition of its free repair workshops—on UNIQLO brand clothing and by presenting the app. On June 11 and 12, the UNIQLO stores in Nantes, Rennes, Montpellier, Lyon Carnot, and Bordeaux will host this pop-up designed to extend the life of your beloved clothes.

extends the lifespan of clothing thanks to the skills of the Repairable. It's the perfect opportunity to spark a conversation about textile repair and to learn how to take care of your favorite pieces instead of replacing them.

Beyond simple mending, these workshops embody a new way to consume fashion, in a more sustainable, creative, and conscious way. A repair practice that blends ancient techniques with contemporary values brought by UNIQLO, while questioning our relationship with clothing. And honestly, seeing your old sweatshirt come back to life with just a few stitches makes you want to dig through your entire wardrobe!

A Stitch for a New Life

At the RE.UNIQLO STUDIOS – available only at the Opéra, Rivoli, and Le Marais stores in Paris – all UNIQLO products purchased previously or on the same day in-store can be customized (except for items from collaborations). Here, customization takes on the flair of a Japanese art workshop. Holes mended with delicate embroidery, little flaws turned into cool details… More than 100 designs are available, from lovely lettering to Japanese symbols, along with floral patterns and other colorful whims. It’s a way to transform a basic piece into a unique garment.

The cherry on top? In honor of Refugee Month, RE.UNIQLO is also launching a collection of eight exclusive designs accompanied by a message for peace. This selection is created in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and graphic designer Wessam Matouk.
