Naruto has sold 35 million mangas in France, and it's a global franchise that has brought in between 10 to 20 billion dollars since it started in 1999. And until this Saturday, April 4th, no amusement park outside Japan had ever received the rights to create a zone fully dedicated to this universe. It's the Spirou Park, located near Avignon, that has hit the jackpot, investing 16 million euros to do it right! The largest investment in its history.

The world premiere is happening in Vaucluse!

Konoha Land spans 1.5 hectares, making up 20% of the park's total area. You enter through impressive wooden gates that symbolize the entrance to the ninja village. Inside, the decor reproduces the most iconic locations from the series: the famous Ramen Ichiraku restaurant with its typical counter, the faces of the Hokage sculpted into the mountain, and the retro-futuristic alleys that define the manga's visual identity. Simple, yet convincing, and infinitely more immersive than what the park has presented us so far.

Kyûbi Unchained: the must-ride roller coaster

The highlight of the show is called Kyûbi Unchained. One kilometer of track, two launches up to 75 km/h, a soundtrack played through speakers integrated into the train, and a dead-end spike where the train loses momentum and then goes backward. The rest of the area adds to the excitement: Rasengan Chakra Rotation, a ride with suspended cars on rotating arms, a ninja course playground for those taking their Chûnin exams, a shop, and a restaurant. In short, everything you need for a full day without ever leaving Konoha! Important reminder: the park is open from April 4 to November 11, 2026, on weekends, public holidays, and during school vacations.
