Ah… The smell of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine, have you missed that too? Thanks to the Christmas market in Grande Motte, the famous “Magic Forest,” we’ll be able to enjoy all of that again! From November 30, 2024, to January 5, 2025, you’ll be able to stroll through a multitude of chalets and discover a whole bunch of specialties: handmade lollipops, gingerbread, Alsatian chocolate, churros, waffles, and homemade crepes. And also poutine, raclette, Savoyard hamburgers, grilled meats, and filled pretzels. Not to mention the must-haves: hot chocolate, coffee, and of course, mulled wine!

The artisan stalls will definitely be there as usual, making it a great opportunity to find some unique gifts to tuck under the tree. Sure, we know Amazon is simpler and more convenient, but let’s not forget our local creators who have these little treasures for you! Among other things, you’ll find handmade toys and jewelry, as well as local products like cheese, honey, or wine, all right on the town hall square!

A children's village with lots of chalets

The children's village is back again in the forum parking lot, featuring delicious chalets that will make your mouth water just by listing them: sweet chalet (crepes, churros, homemade candy apples, cotton candy), mulled wine chalet, seafood chalet, tartiflette and raclette chalet, homemade foie gras chalet, sausage chalet, and even a tapas chalet! (Honestly, it’s pretty tough to write this article with a stomach that’s growling…) Well, eating is great, but having fun is even better!

, it’s even better! Rides will come to complement this magical village with a lineup including: sledding, a Christmas roller coaster, Santa's sleigh, flying chairs, a Christmas carousel, and elastic trampolines. A true playground for the little ones… and the grown-ups who have kept their inner child alive!
