As you know, the Brazilian carnival is one of the most beautiful and grand in the world, and it’s a must-do at least once in your life. If, unfortunately, the idea of a 20-hour flight doesn’t excite you too much, you’re in luck because Halle Tropisme is bringing you its traditional Carnaval do Brasil, which will whisk you away from February 27 to March 2 right in the heart of this incredible celebration! Inspired by the great carnivals of Rio, Salvador, and Recife, this event showcases the richness and diversity of Brazilian culture. Get ready for concerts, DJs, performances, a craft market, and even a Brazilian flea market!

The kickoff will be on Thursday, February 27th with a Roda de Samba and a tasting of artisanal cachaça (for those who love it, the first 50 guests will get a free shot!). We'll follow that up with a baile funk DJ set and some Brazilian specialties to snack on. On Friday, February 28th, we'll journey to the Nordeste with a concert by Tom da Bahia, who will raise the temperature with tunes from Brazilian legends like Ivete Sangalo and Daniela Mercury. Get ready for an electrifying vibe! Then, on Saturday, March 1st, we’ll celebrate the Sudeste with Wallace Negão and his trio. Expect an atmosphere as hot as a summer day in Rio.

A vibrant event full of colors

AndFinally, on Sunday, March 2nd, the Halle Tropisme transforms into a family carnival with a Brazilian flea market, a creator's market, a food court, not to mention fun workshops for kids: capoeira, dance, instrument making, and even a costume ball! The highlight of the day will be a grand Roda de Samba, an improvisational gathering of samba singing straight from Brazil!
