He was truly the star of the show (tied for first place with the performance of Céline Dion), he really kept us on the edge of our seats until the very last moments… "Zeus", the metallic horse that galloped on the Seine carrying the rider to the Olympic flag during the opening ceremony of the Olympics on July 27th, will be on display for the public. Whether you attended the ceremony or watched it on TV, you will have the chance to (re)discover this unique horse, which will be exhibited at Promenade du Peyrou in Montpellier from Wednesday, March 5 to Friday, March 14.

A 1.80m Tall Aluminum Masterpiece
It was a scene that anyone who watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics from start to finish will never forget. Inspired by the work of photographer Eadweard Muybridge and imagined by the architecture and design studio Atelier Blam, this metallic horse sculpture came to life through the efforts of multiple trades such as boiling, engineering, design, mechanics, and more. Constructed from aluminum shells, this horse stands 1.80m tall and continues to embody the values and Olympic spirit, as you can go and admire it with your own eyes, right in the heart of Montpellier.
