On Sunday, March 8th, the Salle Pelloutier at Place Zeus in Montpellier opens its doors from 10 AM to 6 PM to welcome the Sakura Festival. Behind this flowery and evocative name (the cherry blossom, an emblem of Japan, if you hadn't guessed), lies a day filled with everything that makes the hearts of Japanese culture enthusiasts beat faster: manga, anime, cosplay, retro and modern video games, immersive activities, creator booths, and the otaku universe in all its glory. The event is organized by Les Amis de Max Soulié & Rémy Soulié and the Otaku - Team RK Association, two well-established organizations in the local scene. They present this year a festival that is intimate yet thoughtfully designed, where each space has been envisioned to allow every visitor to be teleported into the unique atmosphere of Japanese culture.ntemporaine.
