Who doesn't know Banksy? For those who might have hibernated in Larzac for the past 40 years, he's a street artist whose identity remains a mystery, but whose artworks captivate the entire planet. Rats, police officers, children, and even engaged political messages: his creations, often provocative, both shock and fascinate. These works sell for millions of euros, while his urban interventions are closely followed events... sometimes snatched away in the hour that follows (hello London!)...

250 works to admire for free
And when we talk about the world’s most famous street artist, it's because a huge exhibition dedicated to him will take place from May 31 to June 15 at the street art museum Parcelle473 in Montpellier. Conceptualized by François Berardino, a passionate collector for 15 years, this traveling exhibition titled Banksy Modeste Collection has already enchanted thousands of visitors. The idea? To offer free access to 250 exceptional works and objects while highlighting the values dear to Banksy: solidarity, feminism, anti-consumerism, and peace.
Works by Banksy, and so much more!
Each exhibit is accompanied by a collaboration with local associations such as Soccer de Rue and Secours Populaire. Volunteers will be on hand to guide visitors and showcase their initiatives, enhancing the event's commitment to community involvement. And because Banksy stays true to his principles, entry is free! However, donations will be welcome: part of the funds will help with setting up the exhibition, while the other portion will go to local or national associations like SOS Méditerranée.
