We didn't expect it, and it brings us joy: a pastis spa has just opened in Marseille on Rue Sainte, just steps away from the Old Port. Going by the sweet name of Pastizen, this 130m2 spa is located in a beautiful vaulted basement. You'll find 4 tubs filled with a mix of water and pastis! The package includes 15 minutes of sauna, a 30-minute treatment with star anise known for purifying the skin and tightening pores in a large 2-meter larch wood tub equipped with massaging jets.

But why pastis? Pastis is above all the favorite drink of the people of Marseille, its smell of anise and Provencal herbs is recognizable among thousands... But the properties of anise are also a great combo for the body: anise relieves lower back pain and rheumatism. It is an essential ingredient for clarifying and purifying the skin. In addition, tannins also have astringent effects, which give star anise an action that tightens the pores of the skin and an anti-inflammatory effect! Just that!
