ORIA, the New Fine Dining Table
While we were certainly charmed by the hotel and its facilities, Vallon de Valrugues is also well worth a visit for its new fine dining restaurant ORIA. Led by Michelin-starred chef Alexandre Fabris since March 2026, ORIA offers intimate and refined cuisine deeply rooted in the flavors of the Alpilles. We had the pleasure of trying the five-course menu where we savored barely seared shrimp accompanied by strawberries and radishes, followed by a revisited bouillabaisse, the chef's signature dish, then lamb from the Alpilles. The meal concluded with a lovely sweet finale centered around rhubarb. Precise, original cuisine that's (very) generous, where the flavors shine through.
