The Vis Waterfall

We present you a marvel of nature... This incredible waterfall flows into breathtakingly clear water. You can find the Vis Waterfall at the heart of the Navacelles Cirque on the border between the Gard and Hérault departments. This crater, which seems to have been formed by a giant meteorite, is actually a natural result linked to the path of the Vis River. Nicknamed the Grand Canyon of Hérault, it is one of the great sites of France. The Vis Waterfall itself has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011.

The Caramy Falls

Head to a pretty little French town in Carcès. Before reaching the falls, enjoy a lovely walk to admire not just one, but 2 waterfalls measuring around 7 meters high flowing through lush vegetation. It's forbidden to swim in the Caramy Falls, but we guarantee the walk is worth it. And if you're itching for a swim, you can always head to the nearby Lake of Saint-Suzanne!

The Malaga waterfall

Iconic place of Rognac, this cascade that jumps a rocky cliff is fed by a water resurgence from cavities under limestone plateaus during rainy weather. It is not a spring but an overflow of water that overflows after heavy rains and can be dry during the summer period. So be careful not to be fooled, check beforehand to see if the water is flowing abundantly.

The Sillans Waterfall

Hidden in a beautiful green setting, the village of Sillans-la-Cascade is located on the edge of the Verdon Natural Park, twenty minutes south of the Lake of Sainte-Croix. It is a perched village typical of Provence, and it is very pleasant to visit. But it is mainly famous for its magnificent 42-meter waterfall. Venture into the cool forest, discover the lagoon created by the waterfall, and swim in the turquoise water! The hike to the waterfall is about 25 minutes on foot. Swimming in the main pool under the waterfall is prohibited during peak season. However, swimming is allowed further downstream.

The Carmes Waterfall

The Carmes waterfall is located in the small village of Barjols, in the heart of the Carmes Valley, a natural site of 3 hectares. Unlike the more famous Sillans Waterfall, you can get up close to this wonder of nature. A nice boardwalk lines the water, and then you enter a small passage resembling a miniature jungle until you reach the base of the waterfall. It's beautiful, it's green, it's refreshing and relaxing. The waterfall can even have tropical vibes depending on the season...
