The Editor

Walking through its small independent shops of all kinds, its vintage thrift stores, and its small food trucks, Cours Julien is a creative and lively neighborhood. A stroll through its colorful little streets, adorned with street art, leaves no one indifferent. It's a different setting from the sea and sand, but just as delightful. We recommend starting your day with a breakfast at Maison Loko, one of the newest additions to the neighborhood but certainly not the least. You can enjoy their special breakfast menu made up of fresh and local products, which you can then purchase at their delicatessen if you want to recreate the recipe.

If you're in the mood for a takeaway and want to enjoy a croissant while strolling around, Pain Pain bakery offers a wide selection of treats. For those who prefer old traditions, we also recommend Le Fournil du Mont.

Independent and Responsible Shop

Take a stroll through the small alleyways of Cours Julien, and you will discover all kinds of shops, whose owners are often smiling and very welcoming. The neighborhood is full of concept stores with bold and colorful styles, but two words often prevail: ethical and responsible, which is particularly appreciable. We offer you our small selection: The Marie-Eve boutique brings together clothing, decorations, and jewelry from small colorful creators, in the spirit of the neighborhood.

We're sticking with the vintage theme, and you will surely find a bunch of thrift stores around you, but it's always tricky to pick the best ones. Mélamine Vintage Shop is a clean place where you won't get lost, and where you quickly find THE piece. Coco, it's thrift for all tastes, and what we love there are their cowboy boots! And finally Merguez Fripe offers unbeatable styles and prices!

Must-visit restaurants

It's time to grab a bite to eat! Enjoy the sun on the terrace of La Cantinetta. Your meal will be enhanced by the laughter of passersby and children playing in the square. L'Escalière is also a must-visit spot in the neighborhood, known for its local dishes and shaded terrace in the summer. And for dessert, there's nothing like a delicious scoop of ice cream that you can make yourself at Ego!
