The Editor

It's hard to say whether the fireworks will take place this year with the new health regulations. The same goes for the annual ball and parade that usually take place on July 14th. Nevertheless, the Mayor hopes for it, and based on this principle, here are our selections of terraces where you can admire the fireworks.

Sky

As its name suggests, this bar-restaurant is closest to the stars, making it the perfect spot to watch an aerial show. From the rooftop of Sky, you can catch a glimpse of the highest fireworks of July 14th while sipping on an excellent cocktail and enjoying a Mediterranean dish.

Rooftop Hermès

Un hôtel that offers super cocktails with a breathtaking view. Facing the port and its splendor, you can enjoy tapas, have a good glass of wine, or simply admire the fireworks from the rooftop. Be careful, the Bonne Mère is watching you and might leave you breathless with her beauty.

The rooftop terrace of Sofitel Vieux-Port

Sofitel is the ultimate luxury hotel in Marseille. With such a view, you won't miss a thing, including the fireworks. The chef creates mouth-watering dishes and the bar offers divine drinks and sharing boards. Here, the show starts at sunset and ends when the terrace closes.

The Intercontinental terrace

The Intercontinental seems inaccessible because it is so beautiful. No one dares to set foot in it for fear of falling under its spell and never leaving... we understand. Its view of the Vierge and the Old Port will allow you to admire the spectacle, being comfortably seated, away from the crowds but close to the show. What more could you ask for?

The terrace of the restaurant La Caravelle

Rare in Marseille, we found a balcony overlooking the Old Port. Far from being unknown, this bar has already proven itself. Delicious for both the taste buds and the eyes. With such a view, we are already charmed and yet we still have to taste the menu...

La terrasse du Café de l’Abbaye

We told you earlier: the 7th arrondissement of Marseille is without a doubt one of the most beautiful. Just above the Abbey of Saint-Victor, the Café de l'Abbaye is established. Friendly, this neighborhood bar attracts a crazy crowd every day. To get a spot, you'll have to get there early but trust us, it's worth it!
