Anse de Malmousque

Malmousque is not only the only calanque in the center of Marseille, but it also offers an amazing view of the Château d’If and the Frioul Island. If you feel like it, you can jump into the water under the sunset, or even better, plan for a little happy hour!

Les Goudes

The end of Marseille feels like paradise. The calanques at Les Goudes are stunning, with their little beaches, quaint ports, and wild side that leave us in awe. There are plenty of spots to relax and admire the beauty of nature. A little bonus: for a chill, American-style vibe, you can park at the Baie des Singes, right by the sea.

The Wide Open

What's the best spot for a sunset? The wide open! No noisy neighbors, no hunting for a spot on the rocks. Here’s the plan: sunset, a calm swim, and drinks on board. Book a boat with SamBoat and head out to catch the sunset from the sea. No license needed, and you can even bring along a skipper. Spoiler: you’ll definitely want to do this again.

The Prado Beaches

Imagine enjoying a nice cold beer from the Red Lion, relaxing on the Prado beaches while soaking in the reflection of the sun on the sea. Doesn’t that sound just perfect?

Roucas Blanc Beach

Not far from the Prado beaches, Roucas Blanc beach has its own charm. You can enjoy the sunset while sitting right at the friends' cabin, where a friendly atmosphere is guaranteed. Whether sitting at a table or on a lounger, you can even grab a bite to eat if you're feeling a bit peckish, all with your feet in the water.

Pharo Park

If you're not too much into beaches, Pharo Park is the perfect spot to catch a sunset. The view? The port of Marseille, Fort Saint Jean, MUCEM, the Major Cathedral, and the sea!

Vallon des Auffes

Sitting on the terrace, on the rocks, or by the little fishing port of Vallon des Auffes, you'll enjoy an exceptional sunset in the picturesque atmosphere of the neighborhood. Located in the heart of Marseille, you'll be just in time to head back for dinner.

Our Lady of the Guard

Our last suggestion, but certainly not the least: Our Lady of the Guard. While the Virgin watches over the people of Marseille, she also offers a stunning 360-degree view of the city. Perfect for enjoying the sunset, right?
