Lea and Tom first docked in the Phocaean City where they managed La Pinède - Curiosity & guest house for almost 3 years. Convinced they made the right choice by leaving the capital, they seize the opportunity and set their sights on La Ciotat for a genuine Provencal life. It was on the edge of this dynamic, raw charm port that they fell in love with a family home.
Maison Acacia: a family home for everyone
Maison Acacia is a welcoming home to stay for a night, a month, or more if you feel like it. Travelers, couples, solo adventurers, friends, families looking for authentic and carefully thought-out places; Maison Acacia, is a lively place where everyone will feel a bit at home and at the same time transported. Lea (photographer) and Tom (stylist) are here to make your stay unforgettable.They thought out every detail of the interior, drawing inspiration from their travels. They furnished and decorated it entirely with simple, affordable materials and treasures brought back from elsewhere. Leboncoin, Emmaus, flea markets, antique shops; the couple nearly entirely furnished the furniture and decor present in their guest house. A house they gladly rent out for private events or photoshoots.
The house has four rooms ranging from 10 to 32m2: three double rooms and one "La Tribu" room that can accommodate up to 4 people (ideal room for families). Maison Acacia is much more than kids friendly, it has been designed to be family-friendly. Baby cots, extra beds, high chairs, toys, books, board games, baby cutlery, baby bath, beach toys, umbrellas; families could almost arrive empty-handed.
The family room on the ground floor is the place for sharing and conviviality, whether it's for eating, playing, or chatting. At Maison Acacia, everyone is even invited to make their own breakfast by getting delicious spreads from the very good bakery on Rue des Poilus, just 200 meters away.
A Curiosity Cabinet to Discover
Each room is a curiosity cabinet and a boutique. This means that it's possible to purchase all the items, from dishes to decorations, lighting, and even soaps.
Guests can, for example, choose from a Mexican fan (35€), a local candle (25€), or one of Léa's photographs (ranging from 80 to 200€). True gourmets, Léa and Tom have also created a small delicatessen to gather their favorite edible finds from the region, such as Acacia honey from a local producer (Miels Orsini in La Ciotat) and a selection of tapenades and pestos from the Var region.
Perfect for enjoying meals on the spot or taking them home.
