At the heart of this high-end proposal, you will find pastries and various fresh breads, local treats, freshly prepared dishes, completely homemade cakes, a main course to choose from 3 daily options and finally a show cooking that changes every time. During our visit, the show cooking was centered around oysters, available cold or hot, cooked right in front of you.
Hôtel C2 Love At Libala, the chef Hugues Mbenda, recently crowned "Most promising talent of the year" and his partner Mathilde welcome you every Sunday for 2 services with extraordinary flavors. For this brunch, the choices are multiple, from start to finish. Whether you want to enjoy it at 11:30 am or 1:30 pm, you will have the possibility to create your ideal brunch. These two menus outline the contours of a rich Congolese cuisine, the chef's main source of inspiration, for a shared Sunday moment. Craving something different without leaving Marseille? This is THE brunch you absolutely must try! Libala The Les Grandes Halles du Vieux-Port To complete its offer, the Grandes Halles du Vieux-Port recently launched a brunch menu. For only €17, enjoy a choice of hot drink, fresh orange juice, pastries, a bowl of baked beans, an avocado toast with bacon, and scrambled eggs. For the more indulgent, you can even add some extra sweetness with dripping pancakes! Les Grands Halles du Vieux-Port In addition to being the new, very girly brunch spot in downtown Marseille, Biba is a true family story. Behind this very (very!) indulgent establishment, we find Mélanie and her dad, Patrice Moraldo. The owner of the famous restaurant in Pointe Rouge - Le Pédalo - for 25 years, it was after the closure of this institution that his daughter convinced him to embark on a new adventure by her side. In tribute to her paternal great-grandmother, nicknamed Biba, Mélanie will envision a whole comforting Universe inspired by her various trips to Amsterdam, to welcome the people of Marseille in search of a brunch (even during the week). Today Biba is a small, cozy establishment where you are welcomed with a smile, where the open kitchen gives you access to freshly made dishes, and where the foodies are more than welcome. As for the menu, we won't give away everything but know that Eggs Benedict, avocado toasts, crispy waffles, and pancakes smothered in sauce are the highlights. Biba Brunch
