Howard - Burger Joint

Howard is a bit like the smash burger you've never tasted before! What is a smash burger? It's a hamburger where the patty is smashed cold on a scorching hot griddle. The thermal shock creates a super crispy caramelized crust that we love. It's easy to see that Howard could become the new favorite spot for junk food lovers in Marseille.

At Howard, everything is cooked and baked on site! From the potatoes bun to the sauces, not forgetting the fries or the desserts, everything goes through the skillful hands of Damien, the head chef.
The very promising combo: the smoky joe with the spicy fries and their amazing barbecue sauce! And for those who haven't had enough, we hear through the grapevine that they make incredible midnight Italian ice cream, infused with Tahitian vanilla. A must-try!

Howard
20 rue Haxo - Marseille 1st

From 11:45am to 2pm & 6:45pm to 10pm

La Table du Café

La Table du Café is part of a trio of purely Marseille establishments that we recommend. In this trio, we find Café La Muse and very soon, Café Brioche.
This new little Marseille bistro has all the criteria to be your new neighborhood hangout. With its vintage furniture, its decor based on visible wine bottles, and its patio hidden from view, La Table du Café will convince you even before you have planted your fork into the homemade pie crust.

No frills, the cuisine at the Table du Café is traditional while being presented in a fairly modern way. The menu changes almost every week and you can eat there parmesan shortbread with confit shallot and tomatoes, Rigatoni like a shellfish bouillabaisse, floating islands, grilled nectarines and rosemary custard. Promising, isn't it?
At lunchtime, it will cost you 19€ for the duo of starters/main course or main course/dessert and 25€ for the winning trio, starter/main course/dessert. A la carte, the prices remain more than reasonable!

The cookies and cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious and homemade. As for your coffee or Latte, you can enjoy them hot or cold, alone or accompanied by an Emkipop ice cream stick, from another colorful establishment loved by the residents of the Vauban district.
