We will listen to forgotten female composers at the Palais du Pharo
Throughout history, great female composers have left their mark on the world of music, but they have always been relegated to the background (like many great women), such as Louise Farrenc, Lili Boulanger, and Mel Bonis. On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Marseille Opera invites Clelia Cafiero, conductor, and Héloïse Mas, mezzo-soprano, to do them justice and to interpret some great opera moments for us.

Let's March in the Streets of Marseille
On March 8th, let's all go on strike! The meeting point? Under the shade of the Old Port, transformed into the Feminist Occupation Zone (ZOF) from 2pm. The march will start at 5:30pm and the front of the procession will be gender inclusive, meaning without cisgender men. For moms, don't worry, there will be a daycare area from 2pm to 5pm at the ZOF, and during the march, there will be a children's float and a procession of strollers. There is no age limit for feminism!
