And for good reason, the European Night of Museums is back for its 21st edition, and it’s looking vibrant and exciting! The Marseille museums have really gone all out to offer you a delicious program. The concept? Enjoy most museums for free for one magical evening. We’ve carefully sifted through the program and chosen 5 must-see activities that you absolutely can't miss.


Rediscover the Hervé di Rosa exhibition at Mucem

As part of the 21st edition of the Night of Museums, why not take a trip to the Mucem to rediscover a colorful and lively artist, Hervé di Rosa? For this occasion, the inst...The institution opens its doors for free from 7 PM to midnight and invites the students from a class at Longchamps Middle School as part of its project "The Class, the Artwork." The students are taking over the exhibition islets to share with the audience their favorites, all accompanied by original music from Thibault Cohade.

Just like the displayed works created by the artists' hands, the dancers and performers will fascinate and transport us into a dreamy, suspended world full of poetry. In total, a delightful thirty artists will take turns throughout the evening to enchant you in one of the institution's spaces.

Let yourself be carried away by Oliver Foster at the Cantini Museum

Franco-British musician, Oliver Foster takes us on a journey for an evening into his unique universe at the intersection of genres. Blending electric guitar, reverberated synthesizers, raw vocals, and choral singing, he offers us a true exploration of music, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of alternative rock and experimental music. And for the Nuit des Musées, he presents three sessions of music right in the heart of the Cantini Museum, filling our senses with art, both visually and audibly.
