Mmmh celebrates its 30th anniversary

This year, the gastronomy festival in Provence, Mmmh, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. And for the occasion, the event is taking place over two days on July 6th and 7th in the heart of the village Châteauneuf le Rouge, the land of gastronomy. To allow festival-goers to enjoy twice as much, the program is different on Saturday and Sunday and promises to introduce new talents from the Provencal culinary scene.

A Program Full of Surprises

Get ready for: the discovery of more than 16 restaurants (including 3 from Marseille: Signature, Saison, and Ekume), 6 bakeries (including 2 from Marseille: Oh Faon and Patisserie Torres), and 18 wineries... There will also be book signings with Déborah from La Libriarie Gourmande, meetings, a young talent competition, culinary shows, petanque with chefs, and many other surprises... And because 30 years is worth celebrating, a charity dinner is being organized on Saturday evening by starred chefs in support of the Le Point Rose association.

The village vegetable garden is being put to good use!

Since 2018, the village has been engaged in promoting healthy eating with the creation of the organic village vegetable garden. This initiative by Mayor Michel Boulan is applauded every year by the guest chefs. The exquisite dishes are prepared by Michelin-starred chefs from the region who will have the opportunity to cook with vegetables from the village garden based on the current harvest.

In short, over 9500 festival-goers come to indulge their taste buds and meet prestigious guests from the gastronomic scene! See you at the village square of Châteauneuf le Rouge: free entry (tastings for a fee, restaurants between 6€ and 10€, pastries between 4€ and 6€).
