Without a doubt, the Olympic flame brings a lot of festivities to Marseille! And to celebrate the handover of the flame between the Greek and French delegations in Athens tomorrow, Friday, April 26th, the metropolis is organizing a series of festive events, including a breathtaking drone show!
A magnificent spectacle
Get ready for pyrotechnics and a wonderful ballet of 800 drones that will light up the sky of Marseille at 9 pm above the Esplanade de la Major. The aerial show will be based on the theme of the Olympic flame and nautical competitions that await the city of Marseille! This stunning visual performance will be the result of the work of 40 technicians and 6 days of preparation! And all we have to do is admire!

Cultural and musical animations throughout the day
Join us on Friday from 5:30 pm for a Hip Hop dance battle featuring different collectives from the city and a concert at 8:30 pm with local artists and DJs. And the next day, the festivities continue to make Marseille vibrate with a day full of sports activities.
