On April 10th, La Plateforme_, a Marseille school specialized in digital careers, is organizing The Big Demo, its flagship event. Designed as a new-generation open house, it will transform its premises at 12 rue Urbain V, Marseille 2e (formerly the Docks des Suds) into a true digital exploration playground. The goal is clear: make the digital world tangible, lively, and accessible, whether you're a future student, a curious visitor, or a professional looking to change careers. Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, development, immersive systems, digital creation… all the major current topics will be covered through interactive and accessible formats.

Hands-on workshops to learn by doing
Throughout the afternoon, teams from La Plateforme_, along with CyberPark and TUMO Marseille, will offer open workshops for everyone. Create a gesture controller using AI, design a character in vector graphics, try your hand at video editing with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, or even produce music and images through coding: the idea here is simple, learn by experimenting. It's a concrete way to discover the training available for digital professions offered by the school.

Conferences, immersive installations, and live coding
With over 20 conferences and round tables, 200 m² of interactive installations, and student demonstrations, La Grande Démo aims to show that code can also be an artistic language. The MotionLab, an immersive space where movements influence images and sound in real-time, promises a spectacular experience. The day will conclude with an artistic afterwork featuring a live coding performance by the Cookie Collective and a DJ set. It's a wonderful reminder that the digital realm is not just a technical tool: it’s also a space for creation, innovation, and expression.
