1 billion kilometers traveled!

For the past 5 years, electric scooters have become one of the favorite modes of transportation for the people of Marseille. And after reaching the symbolic milestone of 1 billion kilometers traveled, Lime continues to promote electric mobility for even more freedom.

The people of Marseille go green!

Everyone knows those lime green scooters that roam around the city along with their electric bikes. And for good reason, Lime is the leader in electric mobility and is working to make the people of Marseille aware of CO2-free transportation: since 2019, users have saved around 526.4 tons of CO2 and avoided over 1,153,854 car trips! And when you consider that Marseille is one of the most congested cities in France, it's a good reason to adopt different habits!

A new freedom with the Tarpin offer

Designed for the daily commutes of the people of Marseille, Lime launches the Tarpin offer allowing users to have 300 minutes of rides during 30 days, including unlimited free unlocks, for a price of 33.99 euros. The goal? More freedom and less dependency. This is it, to the car. In the city of Marseille, it seems that 43% of Lime journeys take place during peak hours, with 79% of users stating that Lime makes them more inclined to use public transport or less dependent on the car. As a result, we arrive less late, we no longer get frustrated in traffic jams and we do good for the planet but also for our wallet! Indeed, the Tarpin offer is eligible for the Sustainable Mobility Package (FMD) financial scheme. This scheme allows private sector employees to receive up to €800 to finance their sustainable mobility trips. The issuance of this funding is at the discretion of the employer.
