Don't uncover yourself in April
Doesn't this saying make complete sense today? After seeing the thermometer rise in January and even reaching over 30 degrees at the beginning of April, the weather quickly deteriorated to offer us its magnificent gray sky and impressive gusts of wind. Overall, we are well below seasonal norms.
Between 3 and 4 degrees below seasonal norms
So yes, we know, there are much worse things in France, but we're not used to taking out sweaters and hats at this time of year in Marseille! While in recent weeks, the thermometer was going crazy for no reason at all, now it doesn't even reach 17 degrees this Wednesday. And it will be even worse on Thursday with strong mistral winds and gusts up to 80/85km/h. So we can bet that it's going to last until the end.of the month. May should heat up with the arrival of hot winds from the Sahara. We could almost believe we're in the movie Dune with an orange sky. Anyway, we'll have seen it all!
