The Prado neighborhood is a bit like the best of both Marseille worlds: beaches within flip-flop distance and urban energy within tram distance. It's here that Soléo Prado chose to set up shop, in a former residential hotel building completely redesigned to become a true Marseille pied-à-terre. With its 98 rooms spread between bedrooms, studios and apartments, the establishment plays the flexibility card: perfect for a getaway of a few days or for a longer stay or business trip. An opening that marks the second Marseille location for the Assas Hotels group in less than a year, following the RockyPop launched last summer. Founded in 2011 in Chamonix by Romain Trollet, the group seems to have definitely developed a taste for the Southern sunshine (and we understand why)!

To create the world of Soléo Prado, Marie-Paule Clout, founder of the Noir Nuance agency, drew her inspiration from the landscapes and colors of Marseille: the narrow streets of Le Panier, the facades of Vallon des Auffes, and the deep shades of the Mediterranean. The result: a lobby bathed in pale yellow and azure blue, an honesty bar with self-service offerings (filtered water, syrups, herbal teas, coffee), and a breakfast room

breakfast thought so you want to linger a little longer than planned, not just long enough to gulp down a croissant! Terracotta, linen, raffia, light wood: the material palette plays the authenticity card, with touches of pastis yellow and creek green that subtly tease the walls.

The secret terrace, THE little something that changes everything

At the back of the building, surrounded by blooming laurels, a confidential terrace offers a real bubble of calm in the heart of the city. Breakfast in the sunshine, coffee after a stroll or a well-deserved break after exploring Marseille. The more athletic among you can also enjoy a fully equipped fitness room with treadmills, stationary bikes and weight racks to keep up the pace!

optimized waste management, fighting food waste, local products in the kitchen and replacing almost all chemical cleaning products with ozonated water.

Ultimately, this new Marseille address has managed to capture the spirit of the South without ever overdoing it. A place where you come to drop your bags and discover Marseille, but where you might just want to extend your stay a little longer... (and why not, after all?)
