Unusual discoveries in the heart of natural spaces

With The Nature Outings of the Museum, the biodiversity of Marseille will have no secrets! Organized in partnership with naturalist experts, these excursions allow you to explore the natural spaces of Marseille and the Bouches-du-Rhône. Observe plankton at sea, identify wild plants on the Frioul islands, or meet nocturnal animals… so many original experiences to better understand and appreciate the richness of our environment.

A first outing at sea on March 26

The kickoff for the 2025 program will be on Wednesday, March 26 with a sea excursion departing from Pointe-Rouge. During this half-day adventure, participants will have the chance to observe plankton using microscopes and discover its essential role in the marine ecosystem, all while being guided by passionate mediators. More outings are planned for this weekend and the coming weeks: you can find all the practical information and upcoming dates on the site of the Natural History Museum of Marseille.
