Several factors explain this position... The public transport system in Marseille, including buses, trams, and the metro, has more limited schedules compared to other major cities like Paris, making late-night travel less convenient. The nightclubs, while numerous, aren't as prestigious as those in the northern metropolises. Safety can also be a concern, with a crime rate higher than that in other French cities.Nevertheless, Marseille remains a charming city that offers plenty of places to party.

When night falls, locals can enjoy 295 bars scattered throughout the city, along with 19 nightclubs and five casinos. It is followed by Lille with a score of 80.71 and Villeurbanne with 80.12.
