Trenitalia: we finally know the launch date of the new Marseille-Paris line!

After three successful years on French tracks, Trenitalia isn't planning to stop there. The FS group subsidiary, which has been operating in the market since the end of 2021, is announcing two new features for 2025: the return of the Paris-Milan line in April and the launch of the Paris-Marseille connection on June 15, 2025.

The Italian TGV Frecciarossa is making its way onto the Paris-Marseille route to compete with SNCF! Starting June 15, 2025, the Italian railway company will launch a new service between Marseille and the capital with four round trips daily. In just 3 hours and 20 minutes, passengers will be able to zip from the capital (Paris-Gare-de-Lyon) to the Mediterranean (Marseille Saint-Charles). There will also be stops at Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Avignon TGV, and Aix-en-Provence TGV, providing a complete and accessible travel offer. Here are the schedules: departures from Paris at 05:55, 11:15, 14:26, and 19:04 departures from Marseille: 06:52, 09:53, 15:40, and 18:49.

At the same time, Trenitalia is reviving its Paris-Milan line, which has been on hold for a while. This is a great opportunity to reconnect French travelers with the capital of Lombardy and its treasures.

Three million passengers and happy travelers

With 3 million passengers transported since its launch, Trenitalia France proves that the bet on a rail alternative in France has been successful. The Frecciarossa is appealing with 98% of travelers expressing satisfaction.
