Nature Shuttle: The new outdoor tourist transportation project in Marseille!
All good ideas start with a simple observation. Marseille and its region are full of natural spots to discover, sometimes difficult to access without a car. If we are lucky, and the destinations are accessible by public transportation, it is still a real journey, between buses, metro, and trains to reach the ultimate goal. Enough to discourage more than one!
Two entrepreneurs from Marseille, Cindy and Delphine, then took on the project of making all these hard-to-reach natural places accessible, without a car, starting from Marseille, thanks to shared shuttles! It's a way to promote access to the wonders of our region while limiting our impact on the environment.
How does it work?
Inspired by a concept in Montreal, "Nature Shuttle" will allow locals and especially non-car owners to escape into nature for a day on the weekend and enjoy the gems of our region! A shuttle will depart in the morning from Marseille to reach a destination like Luberon or Verdon and return at the end of the day! A great way to reduce our environmental footprint and encourage the practice.
