The Olympic Marina: the legacy of the Olympic Games

This ambitious project developed for the upcoming Olympic Games includes the construction of about 7,000 m² of buildings and the reorganization of 17,000 m² of outdoor spaces, as well as a redesign of the basin. It is a new space dedicated to learning water sports. Whether you are a beginner or a sailing enthusiast, this space will be open to all Marseille residents.

Open day at the Olympic Marina to introduce you to sailing

Saturday, April 6, come and discover the beauty of the Marina, enjoy the entertainment, and maybe even try your hand at sailing! As part of the Olympic and Paralympic week, the marina will be open to everyone: an opportunity to explore the site through its sports facilities, workshops, and discover handisports with introductory sessions.teaming with exciting activities for all ages, including adapted sports (such as blind soccer and wheelchair football), quizzes about disability in sports, and workshops on coastal and marine biodiversity. Tony Estanguet, three-time Olympic champion in canoeing and current head of the organizing committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, will be present at the inauguration.

To celebrate this grand opening, join us on Saturday, April 6th at the Vieux-Port, which will be pedestrianized for the occasion. Enjoy free activities, breakdance shows, and a big concert by Coca-Cola on a floating stage in the evening!
