At the Most Marseille-Belgian Place in the World

In the heart of the Calanques National Park, Chez le Belge is a timeless place filled with good vibes and a family spirit that even manifests in the dishes. The welcome is super friendly, the terrace with feet in the water offers a stunning, almost paradise-like setting… Here, simplicity and nature create the backdrop for the restaurant.

On the food side

At Chez le Belge, it’s all about the roots, no electricity, so no reservations and everything runs on gas! On the menu: you have the choice of two dishes (if you love long menus, forget it - this isn’t for you... but we personally can’t resist how delicious it is!). A special mention for the Bolo Pasta, it’s a must! And if you feel like having a picnic on site while sitting down, that’s possible too, feel free to take off your shoes and put your feet up to soak in the sun (just not on the table, okay?)…

How to get there?

Nestled in the beautiful calanque of Marseilleveyre, it's about an hour's walk from the port of Callelongue to reach this spot. This hike is of medium difficulty, so make sure to set aside around 2.5 hours for a round trip, covering 7 km of walking. Right now, the restaurant Chez le Belge is open every day in September and until the end of October, from Friday to Monday for lunch only (12:30 PM to 2:30 PM).
