What if we made reading more accessible to everyone? That's the wonderfully ambitious challenge that the Nights of Reading launched 9 years ago, when they first started. Since then, every year, they celebrate 4 days and 4 nights of unconditional love for reading, with a specific theme for each edition. This year, the theme is a beautifully diverse one: heritages. It's a notion that's both intimate and collective, touching on ideas of transmission, legacy, and reinterpretation.
A gigantic event
Just a few days before the festivities kick off, more than 7,000 physical and digital events are already scheduled across over 3,000 libraries, bookstores, museums, monuments, and schools... All of this takes place in every corner of France, from Paris to Corsica and Brittany, as well as abroad and online. It's a wonderfully diverse celebration!
Programming is for everyone : whether you're a history buff or more of a poetry lover, a fan of the written word, young or young at heart, in short, it's for all!See this post on InstagramTwo events that, if you can, are not to be missed.
