We can't quite explain it, but it always leaves an impression—there's something magical about it! And for the third year in a row, the fishermen's houses in Cassis will shine in a very special artistic light…

On the Agenda
The stunning facades of the Cassis harbor light up and come alive with a much-anticipated video mapping, along with monumental projections that showcase the history of Cassis. This season, relive the discovery of the Cosquer Cave, Henri Cosquer, and the “Cassis Calanques Diving”, and discover some rock paintings from... ```over 30,000 years: horse, bison, deer... springing to life and dashing away as a flurry of arrows fills the air. A cave penguin even comes to play with the diver… Every evening, chickens, scad, and sardines tease the façades of the fishermen’s houses. A new sequence takes us into the magical world of nudibranchs, these tiny living creatures that inhabit our ocean floors. Bursting with colors, they are a pride of our Calanques. Look in awe! Let yourself be swept away among their swaying tentacles. A new scene blends the mosaics of the Roman villa at the beach of l'Arène in Cassis with the patterns of the mosaics from the sea world of Herculaneum (Pompeii) and the port of Ostia (Rome), recalling the ancient history of Cassis. Every evening, at dusk, from December 6 to January 5, 2025, in a loop, all night long.
