Endless gardens

Located not far from the Corniche and close to the beaches of Prado in the 8th arrondissement of Marseille, Parc Borely extends over 17 hectares! It is the most frequented park by the people of Marseille, as it is a real breath of fresh air in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. Comprising an English garden, a French garden, a rose garden, a botanical garden with a Japanese and Chinese garden, and several greenhouses, the park is full of secret spots to explore.

The vastness of the park will quickly disconnect you from the hustle and bustle of Marseille. With its many pathways and perfectly maintained vast lawns, its tall trees to rest under and be lulled by the sound of water, Parc Borely is a little green paradise in the heart of Marseille. For those who want to take a gourmet break, do not hesitate to sit at the lake bar to feel like you are in Canada!

Whether you want to stroll and have a picnic in the shade of the trees or practice sports, Parc Borély is the perfect place! Open from 6am to 9pm, this natural haven in the city offers an idyllic setting to unwind and run in peace. For a slightly more unusual experience, we recommend renting a Rosalie, a small two-seater kart. Pedal your way around the park and discover all its hidden gems while having fun!

You can't miss this wonderful castle that stands out in the heart of the Park! It's the Château Borely (surprising, right?), built in the 18th century by a wealthy merchant who wanted to make it the most beautiful country house in the Marseille area. The end result? Well, let's just say it's pretty impressive! It now houses the museum of decorative arts and the museum of ceramics and fashion.
