The Sofitel-Novotel Marseille Vieux-Port is hosting its Kouss Kouss Festival!
From August 28 to 31, 2024, the ‘Coucous mania’ will land at this iconic site in the city, taking food lovers on a delightful journey in search of spicy flavors. For this special occasion, the Chef duo Sylvain Touati from Sofitel and Sophian Jellouli from Novotel have come together to create a recipe featuring all kinds of seeds, inspired by their diverse backgrounds. They have whipped up a delicious couscous with vegetables and falafel made from a thousand and one seeds, topped with spiced confit lamb shoulder and sprouted seed condiments with harissa… Our taste buds are already in absolute bliss! To get a sneak peek, join us on Wednesday, August 28 on the terrace of the brasserie Le Carré of Sofitel Marseille Vieux-Port for a Grand Banquet. In a Moroccan-inspired atmosphere curated by the Marseille concept store Pôdevache, you will be able to discover un three-course menu at 40 € with the sunset as a backdrop. Then from August 29 to 31 inclusive, during lunch and dinner, extend your experience by the pool at the Magâté restaurant in Novotel Marseille Vieux-Port. This event promises a delightful gastronomic experience with a breathtaking view of Fort Saint-Jean and the Mucem. Be sure to book without delay !

A Night at the Museum
Every Thursday
, join us at the municipal museums! While permanent exhibitions are already accessible for free, during the Marseille summer, the City of Marseille also opens temporary exhibitions to everyone each Thursday. For this new edition, head over to the courtyard of the Vieille Charité, and the exhibition rooms of “Panoramas. Revisiting the Collections of the Museums of Marseille,” along with the Mediterranean Archaeology Museum and the Museum of African, Oceanian, and Amerindian Arts, will be open from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM (last entry at 9:30 PM). On Thursday, August 29, expect a special program with BI:POLE.

The collective presents Vanda Forte, MAMA ACE, Olkan & La Vipère Rouge, and Sabine Salamé: eclectic DJ sets to live performances blending Eastern instruments and activist rap.
