On this last weekend of May (and first weekend of June, I see you coming), we have prepared a typically Marseillais program to keep you busy all day long, so enjoy yourself!

Friday, May 31st

• ON AIR #1 Friche la Belle de Mai, a rooftop dinner - free seating starting at 7:30pm. On the agenda: sunset views, live music, and DJ sets. An unbeatable viewpoint overlooking the city. 41 Rue Jobin, 13003 Marseille.

Saturday, June 1st

• Clean my Calanques: Can't miss event at La Madrague from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The goal is to break the record of 450kg of cigarette butts collected in Marseille last year! To give you an idea, 100kg of cigarette butts are thrown in our city every hour, so it’s definitely doable. If you want to help preserve our beautiful city and avoid swimming next to floating cigarette butts this summer, join us! 64 Boulevard Mont-Rose, La Madrague.

• The Estivales at the Pont de Vivaux racecourse! A must-attend Marseille event for families, the Estivales are back this summer, every Saturday evening in June. In this unique venue, this Saturday, June 1st, you'll have the chance to watch a nighttime horse race, dance to some great music, and enjoy a beautiful fireworks display. Kids can ride ponies, enjoy a merry-go-round, get face paint, and take home some cool balloons. And when it comes to food, will we be feasting? Absolutely...it's going to be royal paella! And if you prefer a food truck, you'll find something you like on site. (Food service: 06.09.83.63.56). Adult entry 5&EUR 3 for ages 12-18, free for under 12s. Sunday, June 2nd

•  La voie est Libre Édition Limitée: Sunny Sunday from 10am to 8pm, music, food truck, and entertainment. To celebrate 25 years of Marsatac (wowww already, feeling old), some Festival artists will perform for free by the sea, along our beautiful Corniche made pedestrian for the occasion.

• Explore Festival: Stands at the beach from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Escale Borely, between swims and a tasty break: play, manipulate, and experience with researchers. Speed Searching from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Embark on the Ferris wheel at Escale Borély and have a 10-minute face-to-face chat with scientists, for a free ride!

• 1 piece of trash per day is organizing a family clean-up with the association Les Amis du Vallon des Auffes. What could be better than getting the whole family involved? The plan is to meet from 9:00 to 12:00 at the natural pool of Vallon to clean up as much trash as possible at this historic site, and to end the day with a family aperitif to celebrate our efforts!
